Seriously ??? Was so looking forward to this story, I gave all the other books 5 stars. Like so many readers, I read to escape the crazy of what is going on in our world. I don't understand why you needed to go WOKE! I stopped reading as soon as I figured out what you were doing with the character of a six year old CHILD! You are a great writer Ms. Harlow however, just like with athletes , I couldn't care less about your politics. You have lost a fan. Good luck to you. I couldn't make it past the kid who has gender disphoria or whatever. Insert eye roll. What is going on??? Every author I like is ruining every new book with all this woke crap. please, for the love of all that's holy, please authors stop ruining romance with sidebar political and social nonsense. Stop jumping on every bandwagon. This is the third book in 3 weeks that I stopped reading because of it. All I keep picturing is some editor who was told that they gave to squeeze in the social justice problem du jour, somewhere in their book. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions, I just dont want to pay to read someone's opinions in my romance books. Melanie Harlow, you are not an auto buy anymore. I can spend my hard-earned money elsewhere.
