This is a slow burn favorite series of K M Neuhold's for me, and I think each one just keeps getting better. At first I thought they were good, sweet, light fun. But honestly these characters have stuck with me a bit and I think, I think, these two were my favorite. I love how Theo realizes how different Elijah and Alex are and how much more his relationship with Alex has turned out to be. No spoilers, but the scene when they come home from the bar after drinking for awhile and making out on the dance floor...so so so good (and by "good" I mean "hot")--maybe one of my favorite scenes of all times. All in all I really enjoy this whole series, will definitely re-read. It's solidly written, funny, has great character development and is overall a fairly light read, kind of soothing for the soul. Definitely recommend. By the Numbers brings us the next book in the Love Logic series and I was happy to see both Alex and Theo as the couple. I'm also a huge fan of roommates-to-lovers romance so this hit a lot of checkboxes for me. Both of these guys have avoided relationships and stuck mostly with hooking up but it's wearing on them and they've each decided to step away from casual. Of course that doesn't stop their attraction to each other and this creates some delicious tension through the first half of the book. I wouldn't call this slow burn but it doesn't move super fast; instead Theo and Alex spend some time getting to know each other and becoming friends first before they move into a casual roommates-with-benefits scenario. I loved their easy going personalities and their chemistry jumps off the page even when they're just trying to be friends.Overall, I really enjoyed this one and even though I think I liked the first two in the series more, this was still really great and I would definitely read it again.
